Abstract

Fisheries are all efforts to catch fish and process them until they are marketed. Biofloc system cultivation is a collection of various organisms such as fungi, bacteria, algae, protozoa, worms, and others that are combined into clumps. Biofloc system fish cultivation provides advantages in that it can increase productivity and reduce odorous waste such as water. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, namely collecting data through field surveys, interviews and using triangulation techniques. This study aims to determine the feasibility of biofloc system catfish cultivation at the Keling Kumang Education Foundation. This study also aims to provide insight into biofloc system catfish cultivation and provide the ability to analyze opportunities that can be utilized as a business. The results of the study showed that biofloc system catfish cultivation is feasible to continue because it has an RCR> 1, and an FRR of 52%, which means that the greater the FRR, the greater the profit obtained.
